Wildcats complete season sweep of Eagles

LEE — The first time the Lee and Mt. Everett baseball teams squared off this season, the Wildcats held on for a close victory, their first over the Eagles in over half a decade.

Saturday, the teams faced each other again, with the Wildcats doing something they hadn’t done in even longer: complete a sweep of the team from Sheffield.

Lee once again held on to an 8-7 victory over Mt. Everett, stranding the tying run 90 feet away from extending the game.
