Wildcats brave rain, advance past Indians

When it comes to the relationship between the Lee Wildcats and the Ware Indians football teams, there is certainly no love lost.
Before Friday night’s matchup, there was some question of whether the game would be played that night. Ware requested the game be pushed due to weather conditions that were expected to hit around game time.
However, the game was played as scheduled, with the Wildcats routing the Indians to the tune of 35-6 to advance to the Western Massachusetts Division VIII finals for the first time since 2015.

Tag Roosa (20) and Gabe Kelley (28) high five in the fourth quarter of Lee’s win.
