They tore down a sandwich shop to put up a Goodwill parking lot

(Emily Thurlow) A former sandwhich shop was demolished on Monday, located at 230 Stockbridge Road.

GREAT BARRINGTON— The sightlines along Stockbridge Road just got a bit larger near the town’s Goodwill after a former sandwich shop was razed.

The 2 ½-story building, located at 230 Stockbridge Road, was demolished on Monday by Lee-based Daley & Sons Trucking.

Once the foundation from the structure is removed, the space will become additional parking for the Goodwill, located at 228 Stockbridge Road, said Craig Barnum, owner and developer of the property.
