Task force study results expected before July

After several months of debate and disagreement, the Berkshire County Education Task Force has settled on what to specifically study and model for their Phase II effort.

The task force and their Phase II study partner, the District Management Group, will be considering modeling five county education improvements and solutions: a “do nothing approach,” which has been described by members as a going along with current trends approach; the creation of three regional supervisory unions; the creation of a single, centralized supervisory union; the creation of three regional school districts – South, Central, North; and the creation of a single super-district.
