SHEFFIELD — While at the town fair two weekends ago, the head of the select board recalled seeing a trampoline and an overflow of parking that appeared to be on Town Park property.
Out of concern for legal responsibility of the town, the select board set up a meeting with Sarah Gulotta, a resident of Frederic Lane and owner of the trampoline. The Town Park marks the end of the dead-end street that neighbors with Gulotta’s property.
Rene Wood, chair of the select board, led discussions about establishing property lines at the Sept. 12 working meeting with Gulotta and her father, Tony, during which Wood noted similar concerns regarding the UFO monument to be moved, two years ago.
“Just as we went through with the folks at the monument, we cannot have personal items on town property,” said Wood.
