LEE — A California-based developer is hoping to catch some rays in Lee with the installation of a solar farm on a 105-acre property off Chanter Road.
Annie McQuillan, community engagement manager for Cypress Creek Renewables, came before the Lee Planning Board on Monday night to propose the project and submit a site plan.
As part of the proposal, Cypress Creek is looking to install a 5-megawatt solar facility on 43 acres of the three-parcel property.
Following McQuillan’s presentation, Planning Board members expressed some concern over the lengthy submission.
