GREAT BARRINGTON – An outdoor Saturday dance performance was more than just another show: That night, the Olga Dunn Dance company honored the life of Elaine Gunn, a noted educator and local historian, and announced a new scholarship in her name.
Under a large, billowing performance tent, dancers from Olga Dunn’s self-named troop took to compacted gravel ground, performing myriad dances. Dunn said each section of the show revolved around “the themes of education and history.”
“We chose to perform in the historic train station studio site as it will have the intimacy we are looking for,” Dunn added.
