Notice of Public Hearing

The Sheffield Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 7:10 p.m., this is a virtual meeting to participate call: 425-436-6322 and enter access code: 142741, regarding a Request for Determination of Applicability, filed by James Kelly for property on County Road, Sheffield, in accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 131, sec. 40. The purpose of the hearing is to gather information regarding the proposed project: Creation of Early Successional Forest Haabitat.
The intention of the applicant will be discussed in compliance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act.

The Sheffield Conservation Commission will hold a continuation of a public hearing on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 7:10 p.m., this is a virtual meeting to participate call: 425-436-6322 and enter access code: 142741, regarding a Notice of Intent Application, filed by SWCA Environmental Consultants for property on Bow Wow Road / Mill Pond, in accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 131, sec. 40. The proposed project is being filed in order to renew a permit for the continued maintenance of Mill Pond, this maintenance includes invasive and nuisance aquatic vegetation management to improve the ecological health of the pond.
