A Personal Representative appointed under the MUPC in an unsupervised administration is not required to file an inventory or annual accounts with the Court. Persons interested in the estate are entitled to notice regarding the administration directly from the Personal Representative and may petition the Court in any matter relating to the estate, including the distribution of assets and expenses of administration.

GREAT BARRINGTON CONSERVATION COMMISSION

The Great Barrington Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 6:30 PM at the Great Barrington Town Hall, 334 Main Street, to act on a Request for Determination of Applicability from Multi-Use Studio Experiment (MUSE), property at 430 Park Street, Great Barrington; Map 2 Lot 50. Proposed work includes construction of a handicapped access ramp mounted on helical screw posts. This public meeting will be held in accordance with the Mass Wetlands Protection Regulations 310 CMR 10.0 and the Great Barrington Wetland Bylaw Ch. 217 Art. III;

INVITATION FOR BIDDERS
WEST STOCKBRIDGE TREE PRUNING AND REMOVAL CONTRACT

Notice is hereby given that the Town of West Stockbridge is seeking sealed bids for town wide pruning, cutting, chipping, stacking and/​or removal of trees on an on-call basis for the remainder of Fiscal 2020, through the end of Fiscal 2021 June 30, 2021 with an option to renew for two consecutive one year periods. Invitation for Bidders (IFB) Packages with specifications and a sample contract will be available on the Town of West Stockbridge Website www.weststockbridge-ma.gov. Obtaining the bid documents online is strongly encouraged. All bids must conform to the specifications of the Highway Department and be submitted on the proper forms to be considered a valid bid. Sealed bids entitled “West Stockbridge Tree Pruning and Removal Contract” will be accepted by the Administrative Assistant, at 21 State Line Rd, P.O. Box 525, West Stockbridge, MA 01266, until March 4, 2020 at 7:00pm, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read.
All bids shall be in accordance with M.G.L. including but not limited to: Ch. 30, Section 39M (Bid Bond), Ch. 149, Sec. 27 (Prevailing Wage Rates), and Ch. 149, Sec. 29 (Labor and Material Bonds as applicable). The Town of West Stockbridge is exempt from sales and federal excise tax to the extent permitted under law; Bidders should not include such taxes in figuring or in references to any bid.
Bids offering escalation clauses will be rejected. The Town of West Stockbridge reserves the right to reject any and all bids, wholly or in part, or to accept any bid even if the bid is not the lowest cost, if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the municipality, to waive informalities deemed inconsequential and to make awards in a manner deemed to be in the town’s best interest. Minority- and woman-owned businesses are encouraged to bid.

TOWN OF LEE, MASSACHUSETTS NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING

The Board of Selectmen will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 7:00 PM on the application of Green Theory Cultivation, LLC, for approval of a Special Permit under Section 199-9.11 (Marijuana Establishments), Section 13.3 (Site Plan) and Section 13.4 (Special Permit) from the Town of Lee Zoning Bylaws. The proposal is for the construction of a marijuana cultivation and Marijuana Product Manufacturer facility, to be located at 845 Pleasant Street. The property affected is located in the OPLI (Office Park Light Industrial) Zoning District (Assessors’ Map 30, Lot 84).
Any person interested or wishing to be heard should appear at the time and place designated. If unable to attend please submit comments in writing to the Lee Board of Selectman at 32 Main Street, Lee, MA, 01238. Failure to make recommendations on the matter for review shall be deemed lack of opposition thereto. A copy of the application is available for review in the Town Clerk’s Office.
