1996 Snapper Zero Turn Radius Mower
The Town of Egremont is offering for sale by sealed bids one 1996 Z2205KV Snapper Zero Turn Radius Mower with Kohler Engine Command 22hp. Mower has 1522 hours, runs good, but has some flaws. Being sold as is to the highest sealed bid. Purchaser responsible for pick up​/​removal of mower from town property. Sealed bids will be accepted until Friday, May 5, 2017 at 1pm. Sealed bids, clearly marked “Snapper Zero Turn Mower” may be delivered to the Town of Egremont via P.O. Box 368, South Egremont MA 01258 or by hand delivery to 171 Egremont Plain Road, Egremont MA 01230. The Town reserves the right to reject any​/​and all bids if deemed in the best interest of the Town.

The Town of New Marlborough, acting through its Selectboard, will accept sealed bids until Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the New Marlborough Town Offices, 807 Mill River Southfield Road, P.O. Box 99, Mill River MA 01244. Absolutely no bids will be accepted after that time. The sealed bids are for full depth reclamation and resurfacing of Clayton Mill River Road. Approximately 4,944 tons of MassDOT binder and approximately 2,956 tons of MassDOT top will be required. Prevailing wage rates shall apply under Chapter 149, Sections 26 and 27. All contractors and subs shall be OSHA 10 certified. All bidders wishing to receive a bid package must be MassDOT Prequalified and appear on the email list from Boston. Those who are NOT on the list may receive a bid package for the cost of $50.00 refundable upon being prequalified.
This contract contains a price adjustment provision for bituminous concrete mixtures. Price adjustments will be in accordance with MassDOT special provisions for price adjustments for Hot Mix Asphalt mixtures E-09001 dated March 16, 2017. The base price for asphalt cement on this contract is $397.50 per ton.
Bid opening shall take place at the New Marlborough Town Offices, 807 Mill River Southfield Road, Mill River, MA 01244. Envelopes shall be clearly labeled “Clayton Mill River Road Resurfacing Bid.” Bid must include a 5% bid deposit. The successful bidder must furnish a 100% performance bond. contractor must be prequalified under MGL Chapter 29 Section 8b in accordance with 729 CMR 5.00 by MassDOT. Work shall be completed by August 15, 2017. The Town of New Marlborough, acting through its Selectboard, reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids if deemed to be in the Town’s best interest. The Minority Employee percentage rate to be applied to this project will not be less than 5% in each class.
