The Lee Wildcats had been able to cruise through most of their schedule to start the season, winning by an average of over 27 points over their first four games of the season. Friday at John J. Consolati Field, though, they were pushed to the limit.
The Wildcats scored the final 21 points of the game to defeat the Ludlow Lions 21-7, keeping their undefeated season alive and extending their win streak to five games to begin the year.
Coming off an emotional win at Mt. Greylock a week ago, it’s hard to expect the same kind of performance from Lee, but missteps in the first quarter put them at a disadvantage early.
