Coronavirus update: death toll rises to 11 in the commonwealth

As of 4 p.m. today, the state Department of Health has reported that there are now 11 confirmed deaths from a coronavirus-related illness and more than 1,100 confirmed cases of those with the virus in the commonwealth.

Middlesex County continues to have the most confirmed cases of any other county in the commonwealth with 304.

The largest age group affected is those between the ages of 40 and 49 with 214 confirmed cases, following by those between the ages of 50 and 59 with 208 cases and those between the ages of 30 and 39 with 205 cases.
