LENOX — For five straight seasons, the Berkshire Adult Baseball League final has featured the Cornerstone 90s as one of its two teams. Through 13 innings Sunday afternoon at War Memorial Field, it appeared as though the streak would run to six years in a row.
Then, the Lenox Bulldogs came alive.
After dropping game two in lopsided fashion, the Bulldogs rallied from a three-run deficit in the top of the seventh innings to beat the 90s 5-4 and advance to the BABL championship series for the first time in the team’s history.
The day started about as poorly as it could for Lenox, setting up the deciding third game.
