Ben Harding leads Lee over Lenox, to postseason

When Lee senior forward Ben Harding was a freshman, the Wildcats were eliminated from postseason contention with a three-point loss at the hands of the rival Lenox Millionaires.

Tuesday, he and the Wildcats reversed their fortune, beating Lenox 57-54 to clinch a trip to the tournament for the first time in five years behind 22 points from Harding.

“It’s very sweet,” Harding said. “It feels like we’ve come full-circle.”

The win also avenges a loss earlier this season to the Millionaires, who spoiled Harding’s 1,000th career point in a 58-44 win for Lenox.
