WEST STOCKBRIDGE — Residents who have recently received town bylaw citations for having too many registered vehicles are now in line to receive a harsher punishment, according to the town’s police chief.
Out of the 29 total citations served, eight or nine are still yet to be in compliance, said West Stockbridge Police Chief Marc Protieri during last Wednesday night’s select board meeting.
“People that still haven’t followed the orders of what they were supposed to do … they will now be getting a criminal complaint,” said Protieri. “A majority of the people who got the citations did get them removed … or did whatever they did with them.”
