That’s a wrap: Lee restaurant re-vamps its brand with healthier options

LEE — A town eatery has wrapped its previous offerings in exchange for, well, wraps.

A few weeks ago, Sandeep Verman and his son Mukul Verma unveiled a fresh concept to their restaurant, Chef Express, located at 62 Main St. in Lee.

The Vermas opened Chef Express two years ago, offering a combination of American and Indian cuisine, including homemade naan and chicken tikka masala. Prior to that, the storefront was home to Knead a Bagel.

But taking into account the busier lifestyles of those that are frequenting downtown Lee, the Vermas renamed it, “New England Wraps,” and crafted a more fast-casual menu for their restaurant.
