The stories students hear and tell about themselves early in their academic career can have reverberations throughout their lives. Mount Everett Regional High School Principal Jesse Carpenter said that’s been a major consideration as the high school administration works to implement more career- and interest-based pathways into the curriculum.
Now, the Southern Berkshire Regional School District is taking that idea a step further. The district has partnered with Bard College at Simon’s Rock faculty to offer students free college-level courses beginning this fall.
