GREAT BARRINGTON — A former Oak N’ Spruce Resort custodian accused of secret sexual surveillance at the Lee hotel was arraigned last Monday at the Southern Berkshire District Court. Shawn Demary has yet to enter a plea and will appear on court for a pretrial on June 24.

Demary, 22, of Pittsfield, was issued a summons to appear in court on two charges of photographing sexual or intimate parts without consent.

He is accused of taking four “up-the-skirt” photographs of an Oak N’ Spruce employee on two different days, according to court records.

Police have recovered a flash drive containing the photos, court documents show.

Demary was not employed by Oak N’ Spruce, but was instead employed part-time as a cleaner for Tennessee-based MasterCorp, a housekeeping company contracted by the resort.
