GREAT BARRINGTON — A colorful event paid tribute to the memory of a late St. Paul’s Children’s Center student this past Saturday.

Kerry Hamil and her 3-year-old son, Grayson Pellegrino, were killed in a car crash on Dec. 30, 2017. Hamil and her son, and her wife, Lauren Pellegrino, were stopped in traffic in New York when they were rear-ended by a 59-year-old man driving a box truck, according to previous reports.

Lauren Pellegrino survived. The family, which lived in Lee at the time, was well-known to the area and deeply affected by the loss, said Lisa Kane, director of the Stockbridge-based St. Paul’s Children’s Center.
