Stockbridge weighs solutions to solve Main St. traffic woes

STOCKBRIDGE — The town will be starting small in its solutions for troublesome Main Street intersections after receiving the results of a traffic study conducted by consulting firm VHB.
Each of the intersections has seen high numbers of crashes. At the South Street intersection, there is an average of five motor vehicle accidents a year, Select Board member Terry Flynn said earlier this week.
“The question before us today is where do we go next?” Don Chabon, the chairman, said.
