Caccaviello asks Harrington to stick to ‘issues, qualification’ in DA race

As the final days of the campaign for Berkshire County District Attorney come to a close and the race seems to some political observers as too close to call, both candidates are paying more attention to voters in South County.
Andrea Harrington, the Democratic nominee, and incumbent Paul Caccaviello, write-in candidate, have been on the offensive in the lower Berkshires, but the Caccaviello campaign has registered a pronounced presence in South County with a recent billboard on State Road across from Plaza Package in Great Barrington.
Caccaviello said that response to him in the final days of his campaign seem positive, and although he is a write-in candidate, he finds little trouble in spreading the word. “It is going very well, truthfully, talking to people, canvassing, meeting with voters, people are well aware of the process. It does seem to be the topic of discussion wherever we go. I would say that we’re very successful,” he said.
