Notice of Public Hearing

 

The Planning Board for the Town of Otis will hold a public hearing for a Site Plan Review on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the Town Offices, 1 North Main Road, Otis, MA. Grant Announcement and Application for Restoration Projects in Round 4 of the Housatonic River Watershed Restoration Program

 

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) Natural Resource Damages (NRD) Program, as Lead Administrative Trustee for the Massachusetts SubCouncil (MA SubCouncil) of the Housatonic River Trustee Council for the GE​/​Housatonic NRD settlement, announces the August 6th, 2018, release of the Grant Announcement and Application (Doc. No, BWSC-NRD-2018-12) announcing Round 4 of Restoration Project funding under the Housatonic River Watershed Restoration Program and soliciting proposals for Restoration Projects. The total value of available funding for Round 4 Restoration Projects is approximately $1,450,000. Multiple grants may be awarded. Details regarding project eligibility and instructions for submitting a grant application are provided in the Grant Announcement and Application package.

SPECIAL TOWN MEETING

 

The Town of Egremont will hold a Special Town meeting at the North Egremont Fire Station, 175 Egremont Plain Road, on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 7:00PM to act on the following articles:

ARTICLE 1: Create low and moderate income housing to be located on Town Property at 171 Egremont Plain Road.

ARTICLE 2: Appropriate $640,000.00 to pay the costs of constructing affordable housing units on Town property located at 171 Egremont Plain Road.

ARTICLE 3: Appropriate $375 to pay a bill of FY 2018 for mowing town cemeteries.

ARTICLE 4: Accept Sections 3 to 7, inclusive, of Chapter 44B of the General Laws, known as the Massachusetts Community Preservation Act.

TOWN OF GREAT BARRINGTON

NOTICE

 

The Great Barrington Community Preservation Committee will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 5:30 PM at the Fire Station, 37 State Road, Great Barrington, to take public comments on its Community Preservation Plan, prepared pursuant to Mass. Gen. Law Ch. 44B, to guide the implementation of the Community Preservation Act (CPA) in Great Barrington. The Plan summarizes the open space and recreation, affordable housing, and historic preservation needs and priorities of the Town; and, guides applicants seeking CPA funds.
