Patel of Great Barrington, MA in the above captioned matter requesting that the court Terminate the Conservatorship. The petition asks the court to make a determination that the Guardian and/or Conservator should be allowed to resign; or should be removed for good cause; or that the Guardianship and/or Conservatorship is no longer necessary and therefore should be terminated. The original petition is on file with the court.
You have the right to object to this proceeding. If you wish to do so, you or your attorney must file a written appearance at this court on or before 10:00 A.M. on the return date of 04/05/2018. This day is NOT a hearing date, but a deadline date by which you have to file the written appearance if you object to the petition. GREAT BARRINGTON CONSERVATION COMMISSION
The Great Barrington Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, March 28, 2017 at 6:30 PM at the Great Barrington Town Hall, 334 Main Street, to act on a Notice of Intent submitted by Foresight Land Services for the Great Barrington Land Conservancy, property west of the Housatonic River south of Bridge Street, Map 19 Lots 145A, 145 & 152; Map 22 Lot 64 and Map 38 Lot 12F. The proposed work includes construction of walking paths along portions of properties west of the Housatonic River between Bridge Street and Brookside Road. This public hearing will be held in accordance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, Chapter 131, Section 40 and the Great Barrington Wetlands Bylaw and Regulations, Chapter 168 and Chapter 217 Article III.
Notice of Public Hearing Continuance
Pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 82, Section 32A, the Board of Selectmen for the Town of Otis will continue a Public Hearing on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the Town Offices, 1 North Main Road, Otis, MA. The Public Hearing was originally held on Tuesday January 23, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the same town offices at which time the public was heard. The continuance is to make the determination whether to formally discontinue maintenance of the following roads:
- Miller Swamp Road from Blandford Road to edge of town map
- Miner Road
- Stebbins Road from Dimmock Road to #881
- Dotted Line Road from Stebbins Road to Giles
- Tolland Road from #864 to edge of town map
- Witter Road
In order to discontinue maintenance of a road, the Board must determine that the road has become “abandoned and unused for ordinary travel and that the common convenience and necessity no longer requires said town way…to be maintained in a condition reasonably safe and convenient for travel”
Please note that if the Board votes to discontinue maintenance of a road, the road still remains a public way with a public right of passage.

The purpose of this hearing is to provide the public with the opportunity to become fully acquainted with the proposed New Marlborough bridge replacement project on Umpachene Falls Road. All views and comments made at the hearing will be reviewed and considered to the maximum extent possible.
The proposed bridge project consists of the replacement of the existing single span steel 3-stringer bridge structure. The proposed new 70-foot Single Span Precast Prestressed Concrete Adjacent Box Beam superstructure will be supported on cast-in-place reinforced concrete abutments. The proposed bridge will have a 15’-6”curb to curb roadway width for vehicular traffic consisting of a single 11’-0”travel lane with two 2’-3”wide shoulders. The bridge has been closed to vehicular traffic since April of 2012 and will remain closed during construction. The proposed detour for vehicular traffic is approximately 3.5 miles in length and will direct traffic up Clayton Mill River Road to the north to Southfield Road and south again toward Hadsell Street. While currently closed to vehicular traffic, the roadway and bridge are still utilized by pedestrians and bicyclists. The bridge will be constructed in two stages so that pedestrian and bicycle access can be maintained throughout construction. Proposed approach roadway work includes the construction of full depth asphalt pavement for approximately 325 feet of the westbound approach and approximately 345 feet of the eastbound approach. The proposed westside roadway approach width from the westerly project limits near Clayton Mill River Road varies from 22’-0”to 15’ 6”in width. The proposed eastside roadway approach width to the easterly project limits is 15’ 6”There will be no sidewalks on the proposed bridge or approach roadways.
A secure right-of-way is necessary for this project. Acquisitions in fee and permanent or temporary easements may be required. The Town of Marlborough is responsible for acquiring all needed rights in private or public lands. MassDOT’s policy concerning land acquisitions will be discussed at this hearing.
Written views received by MassDOT subsequent to the date of this notice and up to five (5) days prior to the date of the hearing shall be displayed for public inspection and copying at the time and date listed above. Plans will be on display one-half hour before the hearing begins, with an engineer in attendance to answer questions regarding this project. A project handout will be made available on the MassDOT website listed below.

The Selectboard sitting as Sewer Commissioners, will hold a public hearing on March 26, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the Town Hall, 334 Main Street, Great Barrington, MA 01230 for the purpose of setting Wastewater Impact Fees (Facility Connection Charge) based on: $15/gallon per day(GPD) of Stated Title-5 flow rates for all construction to be connected to the Town sewer system: a Charge of $7.50/GPD for any redevelopment and/or change in use of any properties, that result in an increase of flow to Title-5 flow rates, which were previously connected to the Town sewer system; and an increase in the septic disposal fee of ten (10%) per cent from $100 per thousand gallons to $110 per thousand gallons. A copy of the fee schedule is on file in the office and Town Clerk.
