A Petition for Formal Adjudication of Intestacy and Appointment of Personal Representative has been filed by Marie E. Tighe, of Sheffield, Massachusetts and Leigh C. Forfa, of Housatonic, Massachusetts, requesting that the Court enter a formal Decree and Order and for such other relief as requested in the Petition.

Town of Sheffield
Notice of Public Hearing
The Sheffield Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 7:00 p.m., 1st floor meeting room, Town Hall, 21 Depot Square, regarding a Request for Determination of Applicability, filed by Justin Elovirta & Jennifer Smith for property on 81 & 85 County Road, Sheffield, in accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 131, sec. 40. The purpose of the hearing is to gather information regarding the proposed project: (1) Remove flagged trees from the area around the house. Tree stumps will be left and ground below grade. The area will be top soiled and seeded. (2) Demolish the existing house at 85 County Road and fill the area with clean fill, topsoil and seed.
The intention of the applicant will be discussed in compliance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act.

The purpose of the hearing is to gather information regarding the proposed project: To improve wetlands and early successional habitat in the work areas for common and rare species at our Shmulsky property.
The intention of the applicant will be discussed in compliance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act.
