NOTIFICATION DATE: January 5, 2018 Public notice is hereby given of the “Simplified License BRP WW06 Self Licensing Package” by Henry Alpert to construct and maintain a dock at 34 Bidwell Road in the municipality of Monterey, in and over the waters of the Lake Garfield, a Commonwealth-designated Great Pond. The proposed project has been determined to be water- dependent. The Department may conduct a public hearing in order to receive information to be used in its decision on whether to grant a Waterways License pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 91. The Department will consider all written comments on this Waterways License Application received by close-of-business on February 6, 2018 the Public Comments Deadline. Failure of any aggrieved person or group of ten citizens or more to submit written comments to the Waterways Program by the Public Comments Deadline will result in the waiver of any right to an adjudicatory hearing in accordance with 310 CMR 9.13(4)(c). Notice of Public Hearing
Pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 82, Section 32A, the Board of Selectmen for the Town of Otis will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the Town Offices, 1 North Main Road, Otis, MA. The public hearing is to determine whether to formally discontinue maintenance of the following roads:•Miller Swamp Road from Blandford Road to edge of town map.•Miner Road.•Stebbins Road from Dimmock Road to #881.•Dotted Line Road from Stebbins Road to Giles.•Tolland Road from #864 to edge of town map.•Whittier Road.In order to discontinue maintenance of a road, the Board must determine that the road has become “abandoned and unused for ordinary travel and that the common convenience and necessity no longer requires said town way…to be maintained in a condition reasonably safe and convenient for travel” Please note that if the Board votes to discontinue maintenance of a road, the road still remains a public way with a public right of passage. All interested parties are invited to attend.

TOWN OF SANDISFIELD NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CONSERVATION COMMISSION
On Tuesday, January 16, 2018 there will be a public hearing at 7:15 P.M. at the Sandisfield Town Hall located at 66 Sandisfield Road (RT.57) held by the Sandisfield Conservation Commission on a Request for Determination for John Kuzmech (416/23) 14 Roosterville Road for the purpose of installing a new septic system and to find out whether the land and project described on map 416/23 is subject to the Wetlands Protection Act, in accordance with the provisions of chapter 131, Section 40 of the Massachusetts State Laws.
