To the named Respondent and all other interested persons, a petition has been filed by Dept. of Children & Families of Springfield, MA in the above captioned matter requesting that the court: terminate the guardianship.
The petition asks the court to determine that the Guardian and/or Conservator should be allowed to resign; or should be removed for good cause; or that the Guardianship and/or Conservatorship is no longer necessary and therefore should be terminated. The original petition is on file with the court.
You have the right to object to this proceeding. If you wish to do so, you or your attorney must file a written appearance at this court on or before 10:00 AM on the return date of 11/20/2017. This day is NOT a hearing date, but a deadline date by which you have to file the written appearance if you object to the petition. If you fail to file the written appearance by the return date, action may be taken in this matter without further notice to you. In addition to filing the written appearance, you or your attorney must file a written affidavit stating the specific facts and grounds of your objection within 30 days after the return date.
The outcome of this proceeding may limit or completely take away the above-named person’s right to make decisions about personal affairs or financial affairs or both. The above-named person has the right to ask for a lawyer. Anyone may make this request on behalf of the above-named person. If the above-named person cannot afford a lawyer, one may be appointed at State expense.

The Town of New Marlborough, acting through the Board of Selectmen, will accept sealed bids for Heavy Equipment Rental with operator for various tree projects and emergency work for the Town. The Town of Alford MA Municipal Lighting Plant (MLP) is soliciting quotations for a modular pre-cast concrete broadband network shelter. This bid request will be open for a period of two weeks. Egremont Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing November 2, at 7:30 pm at Egremont Town Hall, 271 Rt.71, on a Request for Determination of Applicability (RDA) by MassDOT regarding repaving of Rt. 23 from the NY State line to the intersection with Rt. 41, which involves a few wetlands crossings and areas that fall within NHESP priority habitat. Snow Plowing Services
The Town of Sheffield is seeking bids from vendors qualified to provide snow plowing services to assist the Highway Department in snow and ice removal operations on an as needed basis. Vendors shall utilize a minimum one ton truck with nine foot plow. Although a sander is not required, if the truck is equipped to sand, and the Town authorizes such use, additional compensation will be paid. Vehicle must be operated by a qualified, licensed driver and be available on call from the period November 15, 2017 to April 30, 2018. Bid forms may be obtained from the Office of the Town Administrator, Town Hall, P.O. Box 325, Sheffield, MA 01257 (413-229-7000, ext. 152). Bids on these forms, in sealed, opaque envelopes shall be marked “Bid for Snow Plowing FY2018”and delivered to the above address by November 13, 2017 at 2:00 PM, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive minor informalities or irregularities in any bid and to make an award in any manner consistent with the law and deemed to be in the best interests of the Town of Sheffield.

The Planning Board of the Town of Otis, Massachusetts will hold a public hearing to discuss proposed amendments to the town’s Sign zoning by-law, Section 5.2. The Public Hearing will be as follows:
