ZONING BYLAW CHANGE
The Attorney General’s office has officially approved the Marijuana Moratorium Zoning Bylaw passed at the Egremont Annual Town Meeting of May 2, 2017 with the exception of excluding “January 2019, or” and “whichever is later.” Copies of the new bylaw as well as the AG approval letter are on view at the Egremont Town Hall, Library, South Egremont Post Office and North Egremont Store as well as the town website: www.egremont-ma.gov.

HOUSATONIC SCHOOL RFP ADDENDUM #1
The Town of Great Barrington, Massachusetts, through its Town Manager, has issued an Addendum to its Request for Proposals for the Disposition of Real Property known as Housatonic School located at 207 Pleasant Street, (Housatonic) Great Barrington, Massachusetts, originally issued May 10, 2017.
This Addendum (#1) to the RFP extends the deadline date, and provides a list of questions about the RFP and the Town’s answers thereto. It also provides an additional optional site visit date for the convenience of potential respondents.
The Addendum will be transmitted to all RFP holders. Other interested parties may obtain the original RFP and this Addendum. These documents may be obtained in person or by written request from the office of the Town Manager, Town Hall, 334 Main Street, Great Barrington, Massachusetts, 01230, or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org Monday thru Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. beginning May 10, 2017.

NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING
In accordance with the requirements of Massachusetts General Law Chapter 40A and the Sandisfield Zoning Bylaws, the Sandisfield Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall Annex, 66 Sandisfield Rd., Sandisfield, MA, on the application of Kevin J. Kiwak DBA Knodding Head School of Handcrafts for zoning relief in the form of a special permit in accordance with Section 7 of the Sandisfield Zoning Bylaws, codified as Chapter IX of the Sandisfield Bylaws, as follows:
A special permit under Section 5.B.7 of the Zoning bylaws to operate Knodding Head School of Handcrafts to include a traditional Woodworking and Handcraft School on the property at 3 Sears Rd., Sandisfield, map and lot 204-72.
The special permit application including plans is on file in the office of the Board of Selectmen and may be inspected by the public during normal business hours, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Any person interested or wishing to be heard should appear at the time and place of the public hearing.

West Street and South Sandisfield Road Full Depth Reclamation with Calcium Chloride and New Work Chip Seal Project, Sandisfield, MA
The Sandisfield Interim Town Administrator and Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) Mr. Richard White, invites sealed bids from Contractors who are Chapter 90 Prequalified by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation in the category of Pavement Surfacing, for full depth reclamation with calcium chloride and new work chip seal of West Street (approx. 5,800’ x 22’ = 14,000 SY) and South Sandisfield Road (approx. 10,000’ x 22’ = 24,000 SY) in Sandisfield, MA.
Bid documents for this project will be available Monday through Thursday 9:00 am until 2:00 pm at the Sandisfield Town Hall Offices, 66 Sandisfield Road, Sandisfield, MA. Bid documents for this project include: detailed specifications, bid forms, and any subsequent addenda that might be released. Sealed bids, plainly marked as item (WSTSSAND) West Street and South Sandisfield Road Reclamation Project, Sandisfield, MA will be received at the Sandisfield Town Hall Offices, 66 Sandisfield Road, P. O. Box 90, Sandisfield, MA, 01255 until Monday, August 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. The bids will be opened and read aloud publicly on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. at 66 Sandisfield Rd., Sandisfield, MA. The contract will be awarded to the qualified, responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest price.
The Town Administrator in his capacity as CPO is the awarding authority for the Town of Sandisfield and reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in total or in part, to waive minor informalities or irregularities in any bid and to take whatever action is deemed to be in the best interests of the Town of Sandisfield. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., meeting at the Town Hall Offices in Sandisfield. Meeting will include a tour of the project site and Q & A related to the IFB and the procurement process in general.
This project is being procured in compliance with M.G.L. Ch. 30, section 39M and as such the following requirements apply: Prevailing Wage documentation, a 5% Bid deposit, and the winning Bidder shall provide a 50% Payment Bond and a 100% Performance Bond at the time that the contract is executed.
