VARIOUS ROADS
The Town of New Marlborough, acting through the Board of Selectmen, will accept sealed bids for resurfacing, shimming and overlay with tack coat of various roads in the Town of New Marlborough. (Approximately 6,000 tons of MassDOT Top). This contract contains a price adjustment provision for bituminous concrete mixtures. Price adjustments will be in accordance with MassDOT special provisions for price adjustments for Hot Mix Asphalt mixtures E-09-001 dated July 17, 2017. The base price for asphalt cement on this contract is $410.00​/​ton. Bid packages will be available at the New Marlborough Town Hall starting Wednesday, 6/26/17, Mon.-Fri. from 9am-3pm; by calling (413)229-8116; or by emailing a request to sfleck@newmarlboroughma.gov. Sealed bids will be accepted until 1:15 pm Wednesday, 8/9/17, at the New Marlborough Town Hall, 807 Mill River Southfield Road, PO Box 99, Mill River, MA 01244, at which time they will be opened and read aloud. The hearing will be held Monday, August 14, 2017 at 7:15 PM in the Selectboard’s Meeting Room at Town Hall, 334 Main Street, Great Barrington. The hearing will be followed by a vote of the Selectboard and the Prudential Committee.

TOWN OF GREAT BARRINGTON
NOTICE
The Great Barrington Community Preservation Committee will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 5:30 PM at the Fire Station, 37 State Road, Great Barrington, to take public comments on the draft Community Preservation Plan, prepared pursuant to Mass. Gen. Law Ch. 44B, to guide the implementation of the Community Preservation Act (CPA) in Great Barrington. The Plan summarizes the open space and recreation, affordable housing, and historic preservation needs and priorities of the Town; and, guides applicants seeking CPA funds. Copies of the draft plan are available in the Town libraries, the Town Clerk’ s office, and may be downloaded from the CPC page of the Town’s website: http:​/​​/​www.townofgb.org​/​Pages​/​GBarringtonMA_CPC​/​index. Written comments will also be accepted in the Town Clerk’s office until the date and time of the public hearing.

TOWN OF GREAT BARRINGTON
INVITATION FOR BID
The Town of Great Barrington, acting through its Chief Procurement Officer and in conjunction with the Department of Public Works, invites sealed bids from contractors for the FY 2018 Great Barrington Roadway Improvements.
A Bid Proposal Package for this project which contains detailed specifications, bid forms and other pertinent information may be obtained from the Department of Public Works Office in the Town Hall, 334 Main Street, Great Barrington, MA during the hours of 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, or by emailing svandeusen@townofgb.org beginning Wednesday August 2, 2017. Only those contractors who have been qualified and approved by the MassDOT will be allowed to receive Bid Proposal Packages.
Sealed Bids are due at the Office of the Town Manager by 3:00PM on Friday August 18th at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Proposals must be sealed and clearly marked “FY18 Roadway Improvements”. The Town Manager is the awarding authority and reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive minor informalities or irregularities in any bid, to make an award in any manner consistent with the law and deemed to be in the best interests of the Town of Great Barrington.
All bidding is subject to the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39M and Chapter 149, Sections 44A-J inclusive. Wages are subject to prevailing wage requirements of M.G.L. Chapter 149, Sections 26-27H inclusive.
All bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in an amount which is not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount in the form of a bid bond or cash, certified check, treasurer’s check or cashier’s check issued by a responsible bank or trust company payable to the Town of Great Barrington.
A one hundred percent (100%) Construction Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the Town as a condition for the award of contract.
Bids may not be withdrawn within 30 consecutive days after the bid opening.

Town of Sheffield, MA
Request for Qualifications
The Town of Sheffield, MA, acting through the Town Administrator, requests qualifications from full-service architectural firms experienced in ADA renovations on municipal buildings to provide construction management services for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) architectural barrier removal project at the Sheffield Town Hall. The Town has established a fixed fee of $20,000 for this contract.
The RFQ may be obtained at 9:00 AM on July 28, 2017 through the Office of the Town Administrator, 21 Depot Square, Sheffield, MA 01257.
