Sen. Elizabeth Warren: Berkshire County is full of fighters

PITTSFIELD – Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Massachusetts, brought the healthcare fight to the Berkshires over the weekend.

The senator hosted a 10:30 a.m. town hall at Berkshire Community College’s Robert Boland Theatre July 8 and the message was clear: “No, we are not going to go down without a fight.”

“If this isn’t a moment to stand up and fight back, then I don’t know what is,” Warren said to an impassioned crowd that included North Adams Mayor Richard Alcombright, Pittsfield Mayor Linda Tyer and state Reps. Tricia Farley-Bouvier, D-Pittsfield, and Paul Mark, D-Peru.
