STOCKBRIDGE – The Norman Rockwell Museum has opened a new exhibit that pairs Rockwell with Andy Warhol.
The exhibit, titled “Inventing America: Rockwell and Warhol,” runs from June 10 until Oct. 29. It comprises more than 100 pieces, according to co-curator Jesse Kowalski, and contains several iconic pieces from both artists – two personal outfits are also on display.
Upon entering the museum, the new exhibit sits directly in front: the Rockwell-Warhol pairings lay center stage between the museum’s two other lanes.
