LEE — Christine Burns Rudalevige will make a triumphant return to her hometown on Saturday, May 20, when she hosts an event promoting her new book “Green Plate Special: Sustainable and Delicious Recipes” at the Lee Public Library.
The book, which is based on Rudalevige’s weekly food column for the Maine Sunday Telegram titled “Green Plate Special”, shows readers a manageable avenue into the world of sustainable, or locally sourced, in-season and humanely-raised, food.
The book is the culmination of the author’s lifelong passion for both journalism and the culinary arts.
