GREAT BARRINGTON CONSERVATION COMMISSION
The Great Barrington Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 6:30 PM at the Great Barrington Town Hall, 334 Main Street, to act on a Notice of Intent submitted by Foresight Land Services for the Town of Great Barrington, property at Fairview Terrace, Map 12 Lot Town Right of Way. The proposed work includes drainage maintenance and related work along the edge of the roadway. This public hearing will be held in accordance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, Chapter 131, Section 40 and the Great Barrington Wetlands Bylaw and Regulations, Chapter 168 and Chapter 217 Article III.

Notice of Public Hearing
The Planning Board for the Town of Otis will hold a public hearing for a Site Plan Review on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 7:00 pm at the Town Offices, 1 North Main Road, Otis, MA. The Site Plan Review has been requested by the Zoning Enforcement Officer under section 9.4 of the Zoning Bylaws of the Town of Otis for Kevin Rocke for the purpose of converting a former garage into a bait and tackle retail shop. This site is located at 129 West Shore Road, Map 15, Lot 75.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Great Barrington Selectboard continued the public hearing on the special permit application of Blackwater Realty Trust for work in Zone II of the Water Quality Protection Overlay District in accordance with Sections 9.2 and 10.4 of the Zoning Bylaw, until May 15, 2017, at 6:30 PM, at the Town Hall, 334 Main Street, Great Barrington. The first session of the public hearing was opened on April 24, 2017. The project involves construction of a new commercial office and retail building with associated parking lot. The site is a vacant parcel of land on Maple Avenue (Route 23) located immediately east of the railroad tracks and identified as Parcel 41A on Assessor’s Map 22.

The use of the lake’s water will be restricted as follows:

The Town of Great Barrington, Massachusetts, through its Town Manager seeks proposals for the Disposition of Real Property known as Housatonic School located at 207 Pleasant Street, (Housatonic) Great Barrington, Massachusetts.
A document setting forth specifications for proposals may be obtained in person or by written request from the office of the Town Manager, Town Hall, 334 Main Street, Great Barrington, Massachusetts, 01230, or emailing apulver@townofgb.org Monday thru Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. beginning May 10, 2017.
Completed sealed proposals must be received at the Town Manager’s Office on or before Friday, June 30, 2017 by 2:00 p.m. at which time they will be publicly opened.
The Town of Great Barrington reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to cancel this request for proposal at any time, if it is in the best interest of the Town to do so. The Town also reserves the right to waive any informality in the bidding and make an award deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Great Barrington.
