NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Great Barrington Selectboard will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 7:00 PM at Town Hall, 334 Main Street, Great Barrington, MA, to act on the special permit application of Blackwater Realty Trust for work in Zone II of the Water Quality Protection Overlay District in accordance with Sections 9.2 and 10.4 of the Great Barrington Zoning Bylaw. The project involves construction of a new commercial office and retail building with associated parking lot. The site is a vacant parcel of land on Maple Avenue (Route 23) located immediately east of the railroad tracks and identified as Parcel 41A on Assessor’s Map 22.

PUBLIC HEARING THURSDAY MARCH 23, 2017
7 p.m. at the Monterey Town Hall
The Monterey Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday March 23, 2017, at 7 p.m. at the Monterey Town Hall. The purpose of the hearing is to discuss proposed changes to the zoning bylaws with regard to the definition of multi-family dwellings.
The hearing will also include a proposed change to the sign bylaw with regard to temporary signs. Currently the zoning bylaws time limit on temporary signs is 14 days. The proposal is to increase this to 30 days to better meet the needs of the civic organizations in Monterey.

CONSERVATION COMMISSION
On Tuesday, March 21, 2017 there will be a public hearing at 7:45 P.M. at the Sandisfield Town Hall located at 66 Sandisfield Road (RT.57) held by the Sandisfield Conservation Commission on a Notice of Intent filed by Town of Sandisfield for the purpose of repairing the Rugg Brook bridge on Route 57 Sandisfield Road. The purpose of the NOI is to determine if the above project is subject to the Wetlands Protection Act, in accordance with the provisions of chapter 131, Section 40 of the Massachusetts State Laws.
