PUBLIC HEARING
THURSDAY MARCH 23, 2017, 7 p.m.
at the Monterey Town Hall
The Monterey Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday March 23, 2017, at 7 p.m. at the Monterey Town Hall. The purpose of the hearing is to discuss proposed changes to the zoning bylaws with regard to the definition of multi-family dwellings.
The hearing will also include a proposed change to the sign bylaw with regard to temporary signs. Currently the zoning bylaws time limit on temporary signs is 14 days. The proposal is to increase this to 30 days to better meet the needs of the civic organizations in Monterey.

SOUTHERN BERKSHIRE REGIONAL EMERGENCY PLANNING COMMITTEE LEGAL NOTICE
The Southern Berkshire Regional Emergency Planning Committee (SBREPC) is federally mandated to oversee the “Community Right to Know”planning, training, and information gathering for the storage of hazardous materials within the area of southern Berkshire County, Massachusetts. The SBREPC is comprised of the following South County towns: Alford, Egremont, Great Barrington, Monterey, Mount Washington, New Marlborough, Otis, Sandisfield, Sheffield, Stockbridge, Tyringham, and West Stockbridge.
Meetings of the SBREPC are generally conducted at 7:30 AM on the third Tuesday of the month, at Fairview Hospital, 29 Lewis Avenue, in Great Barrington. The public is invited to attend.
The SBREPC has developed an integrated emergency response plan and this plan is available for review. Additional information that is site specific for hazardous material storage is also available. Records located at the SBREPC headquarters at Fairview Hospital can be viewed by appointment only. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Finance Committee will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at
6:00 p.m. at the Town Hall, Selectboard’s Meeting Room, 2nd floor, 334 Main Street, Great Barrington, MA. This hearing is being held in accordance with the provisions of Section 7-4 of the Town Code. The purpose of the public hearing is to review any warrant articles calling for the expenditure of funds which will be considered by the May 1, 2017 Annual Town Meeting. All persons shall be provided an opportunity to be heard on any article.

TOWN OF HANCOCK
CONSERVATION COMMISSION
Notice of Public Hearing
A Public Hearing will be held by the Conservation Commission on Monday, March 13th, 2017, at 7:30 PM at the Hancock Town Hall. The purpose of the Hearing will be to review a Request for Determination of Applicability submitted by TRC Environmental Corporation on behalf of Eversource Energy for a proposed solar site to be located at 221 Main Street, Hancock, MA. The proposed project involves the installation of solar photovoltaic on 11 acres of a 39 acre parcel owned by Western Massachusetts Electric Company.
