In accordance with Chapter 71, Section 38N of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the citizens of the towns of Great Barrington, Stockbridge, and West Stockbridge are hereby notified that a Tentative Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Monument Valley Regional Middle School Student Center, 313 Monument Valley Road, Great Barrington, Massachusetts for the purpose of giving all interested persons the opportunity to be heard for or against the whole or any part of the proposed 2017-18 Berkshire Hills Regional School District Budget. The Superintendent of Schools shall have available for public viewing, one copy of the proposed 2017-18 Budget for the forty-eight hour period prior to the March 2, 2017 Tentative Public Hearing, at the Superintendent’s Office, 50 Main Street, Stockbridge, Massachusetts, 01262.

The Board of Selectmen will hold a hearing as required by MGL Chapter 148, Section 13 on the application of Thomas and Maureen Steiner to store 4000 gallons of Propane on their property located at 109 Baldwin Hill Road E/W. The hearing will take place on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 7:00 pm at the Egremont Town Hall. Written comments will be accepted. The application may be viewed upon request at the Selectmen’s Office, 171 Egremont Plain Road, Egremont or by contacting the office at 413-528-0182 ext 10 during regular office hours of weekdays 7:00am to 3:00pm.

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 40A, Section 5 of the Massachusetts General Laws that a public hearing will be held by the Planning Board on a proposed amendment to the Sheffield Zoning Bylaw regarding the addition of a new Section 3.1.6 Temporary Moratorium on Aviation Landing Facilities.
The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. in the Town Hall, 21 Depot Square, Sheffield, MA. All persons wishing an opportunity to be heard on said proposed amendment will be provided an opportunity to speak. Copies of the amendment may be viewed at the Town Hall in the Town Clerk’s office.

Notice of Public Hearing
The Sheffield Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 7:00 p.m., 1st floor meeting room, Town Hall, 21 Depot Square, regarding a Request for Determination of Applicability, filed by Ellen Rowntree for property on 660 Salisbury Road, Sheffield, in accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 131, sec. 40. The purpose of the hearing is to gather information regarding the proposed project: Treatment and removal of invasive species. Area will be mowed down in the dormant season.
The intention of the applicant will be discussed in compliance with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act.
